In its first three years, Alchymy Festival has presented full plays and work-in-progress by writers and directors and dozens of talks and workshops from leading practitioners.

In 2018 the Alchymy Company Award supported an emerging theatre companies to produce a piece of bold new work at the festival. Judged by Lyn Gardner, Ria Parry, and John Hoggarth, the inaugural Alchymy Company Award was given to Out Of The Forest Theatre for Call Me Fury.
