Ell and Mary haven’t made a show in ages. They’ve been dead for three years.

Now, they’ve resurrected themselves to probe life’s biggest question: how do you know when it’s the end?

The Last Show Before We Die is a hyper-sensory mash-up of found audio and interviews. A raucous genre-bending feast that attempts to answer life’s existential questions—profound and profane—from a 93-year-old, a former addict, a grief counsellor, a climate activist, a midwife, and more.

Inspired by zombies, heartbreak, and tenacious cockroaches, this is a darkly delightful exploration of endings. But there will be no happy endi—

—please do not text. This is the end. Please do not call. There will be no closure. Let us know when you want us to drop off that t-shirt you left at ours.

A macabre mediation from the glorious duo behind ★★★★★ HOTTER and FITTER, this will be the messiest breakup that you’ve never been through.

Filled with moments of comic joy.

Made with cocky confidence and total abandon, this is a sweaty, heady, gut-wrench of a show… Vividly, viscerally alive
